Many people think that what well-known websites say is to be trusted because they are authoritative mainstream media. Thus, they use these websites to check out many things, and some of them rely on statements on these websites even when investigating the true way to welcome the Lord. They believe and accept what is acknowledged and approved of by these websites, and disbelieve what is denied and condemned by them. Now The Church of Almighty God (CAG) is testifying that the Lord Jesus has returned, but some people don’t seek and investigate because they believe false reports about CAG they read on some well-known websites. So then, does investigating the true way in the light of commentaries on well-known websites conform to God’s will? Is this the right path to take? You must know that whether the path to study the true way is correct is directly related to whether we will be able to welcome the Lord’s return. In the text below we will focus on the issue of whether we will be able to welcome the Lord if we only examine the true way from statements on these well-known websites.

Many people look specifically to comments on websites, because they think these websites are authoritative and can be trusted. But we should know this fact: All websites are all run by people and their contents are compiled and arranged by people. Therefore, we could say that no matter how great these websites’ renown or how strong their forces, everything they express and propagate originates from corrupt mankind—this is an undeniable fact. Corrupt mankind as a whole is living under Satan’s domain and no one has the truth; only God is the truth. As believers in God, when we hear someone testifying the news of the Lord Jesus’ return, if we don’t practically seek and investigate to see whether this way contains the truth and if what is expressed is God’s voice, but instead blindly believe statements on websites and treat these things as the standard for investigating the true way, will this be in accordance with God’s will?

Actually, the introduction to and comments about CAG on some websites are simply not objective because they have published these things without practically investigating CAG but according to what the CCP government says. In fact, the words expressed by Almighty God—The Word Appears in the Flesh, various testimonies of Christians from CAG, and all kinds of movies that witness Almighty God’s work have already been made publicly available on the website of CAG for people from all over the world to seek and investigate. No matter whether an individual person or someone behind a certain website wants to understand CAG, they can always go and understand the true situation of the CAG from its own website at any time. And if you have some issues to talk about, you can always contact Christians of CAG who are online 24 hours a day via Live Chat, Messenger, WhatsApp or Line. However, some well-known websites have never investigated CAG practically nor interviewed Christians of CAG in order to understand the origins and development of CAG, but have just blindly published some fake news fabricated by the CCP government smearing CAG. By doing so, are they not violating the principles of objectivity and impartiality in journalism? If we fail to see the facts clearly but believe untrue statements and false reports made by some well-known websites based on the CCP government’s lies, is this not ignorant?

Almost all the reports about CAG on some well-known websites are the CCP government’s condemnation of CAG; these websites have indirectly become mouthpieces and sounding-boards for the CCP government. If we blindly believe what these websites say without discernment, how is this any different from listening to the CCP government? What credibility do the words of the CCP government have? As we all know, the CCP believes in Marxism. It is a satanic and atheist regime that hates God to the extreme. It despises all religious groups and anyone who has a religious belief. Ever since the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, the CCP has openly condemned Christianity and Catholicism as cults and the Bible as cult literature of which countless copies have been burnt. What’s more, in order to enter the World Trade Organization, the CCP brazenly lies to and fools the people of the world—outwardly it waves the banner of “religious freedom,” but in fact it has never relaxed in its persecution of religious beliefs. Now it persecutes not only Christianity and Catholicism, but also the government-run Three-Self Church. Also, the CCP demolishes churches and destroys crucifixes everywhere. It wildly arrests and persecutes Christians in its vain ambition to eradicate all religious beliefs and create an atheist zone in China. Clearly, the essence of the CCP is that of a demon which is the most resistant to God. It is the most evil atheist party, so is there any degree of credibility to its comments on churches and religious beliefs?

Today, the whole world is exposing the CCP and acknowledges it to be even more evil than Nazis. But why do some websites openly disseminate whatever rumors or lies the CCP government creates, whatever attempts they make to discredit CAG? Why is that, really? This is truly worthy of reflection. As believers in God, if we don’t seek the Lord’s will when investigating the true way but rather dance to the tune of those websites, do we believe in God or those websites? Have we thought about what the outcome will be if we believe the CCP’s rumors spread by those websites? The Bible says: “Does our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he does?” (John 7:51). If when studying Almighty God’s work of the last days, we don’t visit the website of CAG to see whether Almighty God’s words really are God’s voice, whether they are the truth, whether they are God’s work and whether CAG has the work of the Holy Spirit, but instead we particularly listen to the CCP’s rumors and lies disseminated by these well-known websites, will we be able to welcome the Lord?

The Right Path to Study the True Way

Some people might ask what the right path to investigate the true way is. Actually, the Lord Jesus told us long ago: “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth (John 16: 12–13). “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27). Revelation 3:20 says: “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.” And it is also prophesied seven times in Revelation chapters 2 and 3: “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” As can be seen, when the Lord returns in the last days, He will speak to the churches and reveal all the truths and mysteries. So to examine the true way in the last days, we must take heed to listen for God’s voice to see whether this way contains expressions of the truth, whether it is God’s voice, whether it can show people the way, and whether it can enable people to gain the true path of believing in God. If we can be sure that this way has the truth, then we are welcoming the Lord’s appearance. Just as when the Lord Jesus appeared and worked, Peter, John and the others focused on listening to God’s voice in exploring the true way. They saw that the Lord Jesus’ words contained authority and power, gave people the sustenance they required, resolved people’s confusions and actual difficulties, revealed the mysteries of heaven and pointed the way toward the kingdom of heaven. They thus determined that what the Lord Jesus expressed was the truth, and knew Him to be the Messiah. And they resolutely followed the Lord Jesus and gained the Lord’s salvation. Therefore, to investigate the true way, it is sufficient to simply focus on listening to God’s voice and determining whether it is the truth expressed by God—this is the only right path to study the true way. Once we determine that what Almighty God expresses is the truth and God’s voice, we should resolutely follow Him, whoever denies, condemns, and fabricates rumors to slander Him. Only this is being a wise virgin who truly recognizes God’s voice when they hear it, and only in this way can we welcome the Lord.

Nowadays, Almighty God, Christ of the last days, has expressed millions of words and is doing the work of judgment beginning in God’s house, on the foundation of the Lord Jesus’ work of redemption. This is to purify and save man so that man can completely escape the bondage of sin and enter God’s kingdom. These words lay bare all truths and mysteries, including the mystery of God’s 6,000-year management plan, the purpose of God’s three stages of work, the mystery of God’s incarnation and mankind’s outcome and destination, and more. At the same time, Almighty God thoroughly exposes man’s nature and substance corrupted by Satan, the truth of their corruption, and the roots of their sins. This makes us recognize how our nature and substance is full of such satanic dispositions as arrogance and self-righteousness, selfishness and ignobility, and crookedness and deceitfulness. These satanic dispositions are the root of our continued sinfulness. Moreover, Almighty God shows man ways to practice, such as what true love of God is, what true obedience is, what reverence of God is, how to practice the truth and be an honest person, how to fulfill our duties as God’s creatures to satisfy God, how to fear God and shun evil, and how to become those who do God’s will. These truths and mysteries are all recorded in the book, The Word Appears in the Flesh, which has been published on the website of CAG. If we want to investigate Almighty God’s work in the last days and determine whether Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus, we only have to read Almighty God’s words. If we don’t do so but particularly listen to the CCP’s rumors and lies spread by some well-known websites, then we are foolish virgins, and will ultimately be abandoned by God and caught amidst the disasters and punished. This precisely fulfills these words in the Bible: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). “Fools die for want of wisdom” (Proverbs 10:21).
